I’ve come out of retirement to give you the new address of the original site and the image gallery.

My host was Host Ultra – this company also owned Freedom Hosting.  The person who owned it was arrested in August 2013 due to the child pornography he hosted.  I usually get charged for the hosting and domain at the end of the year, so I felt that something was up when I did not get charged.  Turns out that my domain name, pigeonhole-this.com no longer works.  The domain name for the company that hosted my site – hostultra.com – doesn’t work either.

The sites can now be located by their original server names, although I don’t know how long these servers will be up.  I haven’t even been charged yet, so it might not be up for long.  I am going to download some of the scans via FTP tonight, if it is possible for me to log in, and if so I might upload them to my Photobucket account.

I just got home from a business trip only to find out that I have to move out of my place and on top of all that, I discovered that the Coppermine gallery was throwing a “fatal error”.  Well, I just fixed it, so the gallery is now back up.  Sorry about the downtime.

 

It’s pretty obvious that I haven’t updated this blog, the site, or even the gallery (other than updating the software) in a long time.  I have simply lost interest, but didn’t want to outright delete it given all the hard work I’ve put into it.  For now, I am going to keep it up.  If something happens and I decide to scrap the Coppermine gallery, I will post it here on the blog.

I will continue to maintain the site – make sure it’s up and running, get rid of spam, etc.

The gallery is overloaded with spam comments.  I also noticed some spam images had been uploaded recently – those have been deleted and the members who uploaded them (they were just images of Juicy Couture purses and some shoes) have been removed and their IP addresses banned.

I have disabled comments and disabled the ability to register for an account, although you can still see the images.  This is something I am going to have to work on over the next couple of months.

Crown Princess Mary has given birth to a boy and a girl.  Below is a press conference with Crown Prince Frederik in Danish and English (an Australian journalist asks a question in English about two minutes in; another English question comes in around the seven minute mark; another comes around the 10:45 minute mark).

Mother and children are doing fine.

According to The Royal Forums, Crown Princess Mary has been admitted to the hospital and is in labor.  She will be having twins.

Autumn Phillips gave birth to a baby girl on December 29.  She is 8 lbs, 8 oz.  She will be twelfth in line to the throne, even though she does not have a title.  She has not been named yet.

The engagement of Zara Phillips (daughter of HRH the Princess Royal) and Mike Tindall was announced today on the British monarchy’s official website.  No date or venue has been set, since it was just announced.

I’m very excited about this – Zara will be a gorgeous bride.

Charlene Wittstock was featured on the December 2010 cover of Tatler magazine. There has been some controversy over the remarks she made in this interview, such as the “modernization” of Monaco by opening a Starbucks and Manolo Blahnik boutique (actually, she wanted to “refresh” the retail options in Monaco by opening these and some other stores; I don’t see how this would be “modernizing” anything as it was implied that Monaco already had retail outlets and YES, my reading comprehension skills are quite fine thank you) and that everyone in Monaco was jealous of her, or something. Well, you can read the actual interview yourself if you haven’t gotten a chance to do so by checking out the scans below.  Sorry about the last one – it was a very small image taken from the Table of Contents, and it didn’t turn out so well.

Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and Prince Carl Philip attended the Nobel Prize Ceremony in Stockholm on December 10, 2010.  They also attended the King’s reception for the laureates on the following night.

I’ve been so awful at keeping up with this blog that I haven’t even posted about the Engagement of the Year yet.  However, I am going to make up for it with a bunch of scans, since that’s the easiest way of going about it.

The first set are actually from before the engagement – they were just like every other tedious speculative article and I just ignored it for the most part (I bought one of them while on a trip).  Well anyway, it will be interesting to see if the predictions made in these two article come true, and if the information they contain is at all accurate.
